No.9 is a light leave-in serum you put on damp hair before styling. It protects against heat up to 232°C, cuts down tangles and static, and helps a blow-dry hold its shape. Olaplex also tests it as a shield against city pollution, which can cling to hair and dull it, for up to 48 hours. It contains the brand's bond-building ingredient plus hyaluronic acid and panthenol for moisture.
It suits fine or medium hair that goes flat under oils, coloured hair that fades fast, and anyone who blow-dries or straightens most days. It is silicone-free, so it layers well under No.7 if you want extra shine on the ends.
How to Use
After washing, towel-dry hair. Work a small amount through damp hair, starting at the ends and moving up towards the roots. Use more for long or thick hair. Then air-dry for a soft finish, blow-dry for a smooth one, or diffuse curls.
