The ceramide brand dermatologists actually name

CeraVe was developed with dermatologists in the United States in 2005, around a simple observation: many skin problems, from dryness and flaking to sensitivity and acne, share a compromised skin barrier, so put the three ceramides skin loses back into every product. Every CeraVe product we stock is fragrance-free and non-comedogenic, and the Moisturizing Cream, Daily Moisturizing Lotion and Hydrating Facial Cleanser carry the National Eczema Association's Seal of Acceptance, which is why they get recommended for eczema-prone and sensitive skin as often as for ordinary dryness.

Which CeraVe product you need

The two single cleansers split by skin type. The Hydrating Facial Cleanser is a non-foaming, non-stripping wash for normal to dry skin, and the one to reach for in winter. The Acne Control Cleanser uses 2% salicylic acid for oily and breakout-prone skin. For moisturisers, the Daily Moisturizing Lotion is light enough for Pakistani summers, while the Moisturizing Cream in the tub is the heavy one people buy for hands, elbows and dry patches in winter. There are two single sunscreens. The Sheer Tint SPF 30 is a 100% mineral formula with iron oxides that offset the white cast, and the Fluide Invisible Toucher Sec SPF50+ is an ultra-light fluid with a dry-touch, matte finish made for normal to oily skin.

Spotting fake CeraVe in Pakistan

Fake CeraVe does circulate in Pakistan, so check the pack. On a genuine pack the batch code printed on the carton matches the one stamped on the bottle or jar, and there is no perfume smell at all. On the pump bottles the action is firm rather than loose or rattly. If a listing is half our price, it is not the same product. We import sealed stock from the US and Europe, and every order can be paid cash on delivery.
