CeraVe Acne Control Cleanser
A gel-to-foam face wash with 2% salicylic acid to clear breakouts, reduce blackheads and improve the look of pores. Purifying clay absorbs excess oil so skin looks less shiny through the day, niacinamide helps calm the skin, and three essential ceramides with hyaluronic acid keep the barrier from feeling stripped. Fragrance free, paraben free, non-comedogenic and allergy tested. Made for oily, acne-prone skin.
CeraVe Hydrating Sheer Sunscreen SPF 30
A lightweight fluid for face and body with broad spectrum SPF 30. The filters are a mix of mineral and chemical: zinc oxide 7%, homosalate 6%, octisalate 5% and octocrylene 5%. Hyaluronic acid and three essential ceramides give 24-hour hydration and support the skin barrier, while niacinamide helps calm the skin. It goes on white to guide an even application, then absorbs within seconds without a white cast or greasy feel. Water resistant for up to 80 minutes, and suitable for all skin types including sensitive and acne-prone skin.
Why the two go together
Salicylic acid can leave skin more sensitive to the sun, so daily SPF belongs in any acne routine. Both products are developed with dermatologists and non-comedogenic, and both are built on the same ceramide and niacinamide base, so they layer well.
How to use
Cleanse: morning and evening, wet your face, work a dime-size amount into a lather, massage gently while avoiding the eye area, then rinse well.
Protect: in the morning, apply the sunscreen liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every two hours, straight after towel drying, and after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating.
How to Use
Cleanse morning and evening: wet your face, lather a dime-size amount, massage gently while avoiding the eye area, then rinse well. In the morning, finish your routine with the sunscreen as the last step, applied 15 minutes before you go out. Reapply the sunscreen at least every two hours in the sun.

Usage Tips
Apply sunscreen 15 minutes before stepping out so it has time to settle. Use two-finger lengths of SPF for full face protection. Keep the bottles upright and away from heat to maintain formula stability.
