SHEGLAM

SHEGLAM is SHEIN's own beauty brand, launched in 2019 and headquartered in Singapore. It makes trend-led makeup at low prices. In Pakistan we stock the lip and cheek part of the range: the viral Color Bloom liquid blush, Buttery Bliss blush sticks, Dynamatte Boom matte lipsticks and the Pout-Perfect Shine lip plumper. The one base product we carry is the Good Grip hydrating primer.

SHEGLAM, the affordable end

SHEGLAM is where to experiment. The formulas are genuinely decent and the prices are low enough that trying a colour you are unsure about does not really cost anything.

Blush, three ways

Color Bloom Liquid Blush (Rs 2,190) is the one to start with: a few drops blend into the base and last well in heat. Buttery Bliss Blush Stick (Rs 2,450) is the same idea in a stick, easier to carry and to apply without a mirror.

Primer

Good Grip Hydrating Primer (Rs 3,210) is worth it mainly if you have visible pores or very oily skin. On normal skin a well-matched foundation on a moisturised face usually looks better with no primer at all.

Lips

Dynamatte Boom long-lasting matte lipstick (Rs 4,500) comes as a set, which is the cheapest way to find out which shade family suits you. Pout-Perfect Shine Lip Plumper (Rs 1,830) is the gloss option.

A note on matte lipstick

Long-wear matte formulas are drying by design; that is how they stay put. A balm underneath, blotted before the colour goes on, fixes most of it.

SHEGLAM FAQs

Liquid blush or a blush stick?

Liquid blends more seamlessly into foundation and lasts longer in heat. The stick is easier to apply on the go and needs no brush.

Do I need a primer?

Only really if you have visible pores or very oily skin. On normal skin, a well-matched foundation over moisturiser usually looks better without one.

Why does matte lipstick dry my lips?

Long-wear matte formulas work by removing moisture so the colour stays put. Use a balm first, blot it, then apply, and reapply balm at night.

Is SHEGLAM good quality for the price?

For blush, lips and primer, yes. It is the range to use for trying a colour you are unsure about, rather than paying several times more to find out you do not like it.
