ECP/EP is Greenstar Social Marketing's levonorgestrel emergency contraceptive. Each pack holds two tablets of levonorgestrel 0.75mg.
Greenstar lists it for women after unprotected intercourse or a known or suspected contraceptive failure, for use within 72 hours.
Two things to know. Emergency pills are for emergencies and not a regular birth control method, so ask your doctor about a routine option if you need one. They are also not an abortion pill: the product is listed to prevent fertilisation, and it is not meant to end a pregnancy that has already started.

Take the first tablet as soon as possible after unprotected intercourse, within 72 hours, and the second tablet 12 hours after the first. If you vomit within 2 hours of a dose, repeat that dose. Your next period may come a few days early or late; take a pregnancy test if it is more than a week late.
