The Smart Countdown display counts down while the test processes, so you know it is working and when the result is coming. Results appear within 3 minutes. A Pregnant result then stays on the screen for up to 1 month and a Not Pregnant result for about 24 hours, so you can look at it again. Accuracy is over 99 percent from the day you expect your period. The test can also be used 5 days before your missed period, which is 4 days before your period is due, and if you test that early and get a Not Pregnant result, test again when your period is due.

Remove the cap and hold the absorbent tip pointing downwards in your urine stream for 5 seconds, or dip it in a collected sample for 20 seconds. Re-cap and lay it flat. The screen counts down while it processes, then shows Pregnant or Not Pregnant within 3 minutes. First morning urine gives the strongest result if you are testing before your missed period.

How early can I test with the Clearblue Digital?
You can test up to 5 days before your missed period, because digital tests are sensitive enough to pick up low early levels of hCG. Accuracy is highest, over 99 percent, from the day your period is due. If you test early and see Not Pregnant, hormone levels may simply still be too low, so test again on the day your period is expected.
How do I read the result?
There are no lines to interpret. The Smart Countdown display shows the test is working, and within about 3 minutes the screen spells out the answer in words: Pregnant or Not Pregnant. There is nothing to judge or compare.
The screen says Not Pregnant but my period has not come. What now?
Wait 3 days and test again with one of the remaining tests in the pack, ideally with your first urine of the morning. If your period still does not arrive and the result stays Not Pregnant, speak to your doctor.
