Searching for Neurobion tablets or its price in Pakistan? It is one of the most recognised B-vitamin brands, often recommended for nerve health, tingling or numbness, and general fatigue. Like most imported supplements, though, price and stock in Pakistan vary a lot from one pharmacy to the next. What does a B-complex actually do?
The B vitamins are a family of eight, and they work together as the body's energy-metabolism and nervous-system support crew. The NHS page on B vitamins and folic acid puts it this way:
- B1, B2, B3 (thiamine, riboflavin, niacin). Help the body release energy from food and keep the nervous system healthy.
- B6. Helps the body use and store energy from protein and carbohydrates, and helps form haemoglobin.
- B12 and folic acid. Needed to make healthy red blood cells and keep the nervous system healthy. According to MedlinePlus, low B12 can cause numbness or tingling in the arms and legs, weakness and anaemia.
- Biotin, pantothenic acid (B5). Help the body make fatty acids and release energy from food.
Most B vitamins are water-soluble and the body cannot store them, so a steady daily supply matters more than with fat-soluble vitamins. B12 is the exception: MedlinePlus notes the liver can hold a few years' worth, which is why a deficiency usually builds slowly and is worth confirming with a blood test rather than guessing.
Why look for an alternative to an imported B-complex?
The practical issues with relying on one imported brand are familiar: stock runs out between shipments, price climbs with import costs, and if nerve-related fatigue or tingling is bothering you daily, you do not want to be without your supplement while you hunt for the next batch.
It also helps to know what Neurobion actually is. It is a Procter & Gamble brand, and its formula varies by country. The Pakistan product page was down for maintenance when we checked in September 2026, but the brand's Neurobion Forte listing for the Philippines gives B1 100 mg, B6 100 mg and B12 5,000 mcg per tablet and nothing else, while its Indian site describes Neurobion Forte there as a combination of six B vitamins without publishing the strengths. So "Neurobion" is not one fixed formula, and in no market we could check is it a full eight-vitamin B-complex. Check the box you are offered in Pakistan, because the contents differ from market to market.
A locally available B-complex that covers the full list
Nutrifactor B-50 B-Complex 30 Tablets (Rs 950) packs all eight B vitamins into one daily tablet: B1, B2, B3, B5 and B6 at 50 mg each, B12 at 50 mcg, folic acid 400 mcg and biotin 50 mcg, plus choline, inositol and PABA at 50 mg each. One honest note on strength. B-50 is a high-potency formula, and its 50 mg of B6 is above the 10 mg a day the NHS suggests for supplements taken without a doctor's advice (the NHS warns that 200 mg or more a day over a long period can itself cause nerve symptoms). So B-50 suits a demanding routine or a short course; if you plan to take it for months, or you already take another product with B6, ask your doctor or pharmacist first and do not double up. Who should consider a B-complex?
People with a demanding routine, a diet low in meat, eggs and dairy (the natural sources of B12), or anyone with unexplained fatigue, tingling or numbness. That last group should mention it to a doctor regardless: the NHS says B12 and folate deficiency can usually be confirmed with a simple blood test, that it is more common in older people and in vegans who do not supplement, and that while most symptoms improve with treatment, some nerve problems can become permanent if the deficiency is left for long. Adults over 50 and people on long-term acid-reducing medicines are also more likely to run low.
