Men's Rogaine foam contains 5% minoxidil, a medicine that helps regrow hair on the top of the scalp. It is approved in the US for hereditary hair loss at the crown in men aged 18 and over. The foam dries quickly, has no scent and contains no propylene glycol.

This pack holds three 60g cans, about three months at the label dose. Results take time: some men see regrowth at about two months of twice-daily use, others need four months, and it does not work for everyone. You need to keep using it to keep any hair it regrows. It is not for women, anyone under 18, or men whose hair loss is sudden, patchy or unexplained, and men with heart disease should ask a doctor first.

How to Use

Use on a dry or towel-dried scalp. Hold the can upside down, dispense half a capful of foam onto your fingers and massage it into the thinning area on top of the scalp, then wash your hands well. Apply twice a day. Using more, or using it more often, will not improve results. Keep it out of the eyes. Stop and see a doctor if you get chest pain, a rapid heartbeat, faintness or dizziness, sudden weight gain, swollen hands or feet, scalp irritation or unwanted facial hair, or if you see no regrowth after 4 months. Extremely flammable: avoid fire, flame and smoking during and right after application.

Does it work on a receding hairline?

The label covers the top of the scalp (the crown) only. Rogaine says the foam is not intended for frontal baldness or a receding hairline.

What happens if I stop using it?
