HydraFacial Price in Pakistan: What Clinics Really Charge in 2026

A salon in DHA Karachi quotes Rs. 3,500. A dermatology clinic ten minutes away puts its signature version at Rs. 25,000. Both call it a HydraFacial. That gap is the single most confusing thing about booking one in Pakistan, and it is not really about the machine. It is about what gets added on top of the basic three steps, and how much of the price is the clinic's rent rather than your skin. Here is what the treatment actually is, what it costs across Pakistani cities right now, and what you can replicate at home for a fraction of it.

What a HydraFacial actually does to your skin

Strip away the marketing and it is a machine-assisted facial with a vacuum tip. The handpiece does three jobs in sequence. First it exfoliates the top layer of dead skin with a mild acid solution, usually glycolic and salicylic. Then it applies suction to pull out the softened gunk from your pores, which is the part people find satisfying because you can see it collecting in the jar. Finally it pushes a hydrating serum with hyaluronic acid and antioxidants into the freshly cleared skin.

The technical name for this category is hydradermabrasion. It sits between a regular clean-up facial and a proper chemical peel. Nothing is being cut, burned or injected, which is why there is no downtime and why almost any clinic can offer it after a short training course.

That last point matters for your safety. The American Academy of Dermatology notes that resurfacing treatments of this type have an excellent safety record when a dermatologist performs them, with a higher side effect risk at spas. In Pakistan that distinction is worth paying attention to, because the person holding the handpiece at a Rs. 3,500 salon may have learned on a two-day certificate.

HydraFacial price in Pakistan: what clinics charge

Prices below reflect what Pakistani clinics and aggregator listings were quoting in August 2026. Expect a single session unless a package is stated.

By treatment tier

  • Basic or express (about 30 minutes): Rs. 3,500 to Rs. 8,000. Cleanse, exfoliate, extract, hydrate. Nothing else.
  • Advanced with a booster serum: Rs. 9,000 to Rs. 18,000. Adds a targeted serum for pigmentation, acne or fine lines.
  • Platinum or signature: Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 30,000. Adds lymphatic drainage, LED light therapy, or a brightening peel layered on top.

By city

  • Lahore: Roughly Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 25,000 depending on clinic tier, based on oladoc's clinic listings for Lahore. Budget slots start near Rs. 5,000 and imported premium versions sit at the top.
  • Islamabad and Rawalpindi: Around Rs. 4,999 at the entry level, rising past Rs. 29,999 for packages with a brightening peel. SKN Cosmetics lists this spread publicly.
  • Karachi: The widest range of the three. Neighbourhood salons advertise Rs. 3,500 promotional rates, while established aesthetic clinics in Clifton and DHA quote Rs. 12,000 upward.
  • Smaller cities: Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar and Sialkot generally run 20 to 30 percent below Karachi and Lahore rates for the same tier.

One thing to watch. A promotional Rs. 3,500 rate is often a shortened session on a generic hydradermabrasion machine rather than the branded device, with a cheaper serum. That is not automatically bad. Your skin cannot read a brand name. But you should know what you are paying for so you are not comparing a 20 minute express session against a 60 minute one and wondering why the results differ.

Why the same treatment varies this much

Four things drive the number on your bill.

The device. A genuine imported unit costs a clinic several million rupees, and the disposable tips and vials are bought per session. Local and Chinese hydradermabrasion machines cost a fraction of that, so the clinic can price aggressively.

The serums. The vacuum step is nearly identical everywhere. What changes is what gets infused afterwards. A basic hydrating ampoule costs the clinic a few hundred rupees. A branded peptide or growth factor booster costs several thousand.

Who performs it. A consultant dermatologist's time is priced differently from a beautician's, and reasonably so if you have active acne, melasma or rosacea that needs a judgement call mid-session.

Location. A clinic on a main commercial boulevard is paying rent that a home-based setup is not.

How many sessions you actually need

This is where most people underestimate the real cost. One session gives you a genuine glow that lasts roughly five to seven days. It is why brides book one the week of the mehndi and why it works so well as an event treatment.

Lasting change is a different budget. For pigmentation, congestion or texture, the AAD's guidance on this family of treatments is that most patients need between 5 and 16 sessions, spaced weekly to monthly, and that the results fade without maintenance. At Rs. 8,000 a session, six sessions is Rs. 48,000. Run that number before you commit to a package, and ask whether the clinic discounts a block booking, because most will.

What it fixes and what it will not

Reasonable expectations save money. A HydraFacial reliably helps with dullness, dry flaky texture, mild congestion, blackheads and the look of enlarged pores. Skin feels smoother immediately and makeup sits better for about a week.

It will not clear cystic acne. Deep inflamed nodules need medical treatment, and suction on an active cyst can make things angrier. Our guide to what actually works on cystic acne covers the evidence-backed options. It will not remove acne scars, which are structural and need microneedling, lasers or subcision. It will not permanently shrink your open pores, though clearing them out makes them look smaller for a while. And it will not fix melasma on its own, since melasma is driven by hormones and sun exposure and comes back without daily protection.

Side effects and who should wait

Most people leave a little pink for an hour or two. Mild tightness or dryness that evening is normal. Occasional breakouts in the following few days happen when congestion that was sitting under the surface gets pushed up, which usually settles within a week.

Skip it or check with a doctor first if you have active cystic or inflamed acne, an open cold sore, sunburn, eczema or rosacea flaring on the face, or if you are on isotretinoin. Wait at least a week after threading, waxing or any peel. And do not book one two days before a wedding. Give your skin five to seven days so any purging has passed and the glow has properly settled.

The at-home version, and what it costs

You cannot buy the vacuum extraction at home, and the handheld blackhead suction devices sold online are a decent way to bruise yourself. What you can copy is the useful part of the protocol: gentle acid exfoliation, then heavy hydration, then sunscreen. Done twice a week, that gets you most of the glow for the price of one clinic session.

A working routine from the skincare edit, with current prices:

That full set runs about Rs. 16,000 and lasts three to four months, against Rs. 8,000 for one clinic session that fades in a week. If you are unsure how to layer it, the order of a skincare routine guide sorts the sequence out, and the K-beauty range is where most of the hydration-first products sit. For a one-off event glow without a clinic appointment, a good facial kit does a reasonable job.

Questions worth asking before you book

  • Is this the branded device or a hydradermabrasion machine? Either can work, but the price should reflect the answer.
  • How long is the session? Under 30 minutes is an express version.
  • Which booster serum is included, and is it extra?
  • Who performs it, and what is their training?
  • Is there a package rate if I book a course?
  • What is the aftercare, and when can I go back to my actives?

A clinic that answers all six without hesitating is usually the one worth paying more for.

The short version

Budget Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 10,000 for a solid single session at a reputable clinic in a major Pakistani city. Anything under Rs. 4,000 is an express treatment or a cheaper machine, and anything over Rs. 20,000 is paying for add-ons you should be able to name before you sit down. If you want it for a wedding or a shoot, book one session five to seven days ahead and you will get exactly what you came for. If you want the change to last, the honest answer is that a consistent home routine with acids, hydration and sunscreen will outperform occasional clinic visits at a lower total cost, and the clinic sessions are best treated as a top-up on that.
